June 4 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
The Tennessee American Legion Riders will be stopping in Dover, TN at the First Church of the Nazarene on Donelson Parkway around 9:00am on Saturday the 4th of June.
Riders across the country will be out riding this summer to collect donations for the American Legion Legacy Foundation, and we are trying to do our part for Great state of Tennessee. The Foundation raises money to offer scholarships to the children of Men and Women that were killed while serving on active duty in the military since September 11th, 2001. It also provides scholarship money for the children of Veterans that receive a disability rating from the Department of Veteran Affairs of 50% or higher.
The Tennessee Riders will be riding around middle Tennessee collecting donations from various organizations.
Saturday the 4th of June welcome these Riders into our community. It really warms our hearts to feel welcomed into Patriotic communities like Stewart County.
American Legion Riders (ALR) are a program of the American Legion.
Rick “Top” Wright, from Post 72 in Dover, is the Department Director for Riders in the state Tennessee.
